NEW DELHI: Two days after the Editor’s Guild expressed concern over the lockdown in Kas- hmir, Indian Women’s Press Corps on Monday slammed the shutdown of communication links in the valley which, it said, is not allowing the to report “freely and fairly” on the situation.
IWPC also said media cannot do its job properly if it is denied basic communication links and added that in a digital age, shutting down communication is “as good as shutting down the media”.
